The Lankans are coming to this test series after beating Pakistan and they are certainly have built up some confidence. But the wounds of a total white-wash in the hands of the same Indian side, that too at their own backyard are still fresh in the minds of the Sri Lankans. And they are expected to give a worthy competion this time as their pride is at stake.

Sri Lankan Test Captain addressed the Press and said, “We all know India is No 1 team at the moment. They have played some really good cricket in last two years. We have done really well against Pakistan. We did well as a team. I am sure guys are looking forward to take this challenge.”

India on the other hand are in tremendous form and are a superior side not just on paper but on the field as well. Before the nerve wrecking series of South Africa in January, this series will be a good opportunity for our players to sharpen their skills.

Cricket is a glorious game of uncertainties. On numerous occasions in the past, an underdog has beaten a far superior side by hardwork and grit.

Let’s see what the upcoming series has in store for us. Tickets are up for the sales so grab yours and get ready for some good matches (hopefully).
